Dichromate ion in equilibrium between pure and dissolved phase
Two test tubes contain different quantities of potassium dichromate.
The same volume of water is added to the two tubes.
The tubes are shaken in order to establish the equilibrium.
We see that the molarity (colour !) of dichromate in the aqueous phases is identical.
Two test tubes contain fifferent quantities of potassium dichromate.
