Scalar product of two vectors: orthogonal vectors

Two vectors are orthogonal if their scalar product is zero

$$\begin{pmatrix}a\\b \end{pmatrix}$$.$$\begin{pmatrix}c\\d \end{pmatrix}$$= ac+bd = 0
 orthogonal !

Example:

$$\begin{pmatrix}1\\-1 \end{pmatrix}$$.$$\begin{pmatrix}-1\\-1 \end{pmatrix}$$ = 0
