Dismutation of hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by manganese dioxide

In the presence of the catalyst MnO2 H2O2 gives oxygen O2 responsible for the foam. . 2H2O(n.o.=-1)2 →2H2O(n.o.=-2) + O(n.o.=0)2 (n.o. is the oxidation number) Here we have a dismutation of the O atoms !
